2022 has been the year of Movement.
What is movement?
“An act of changing physical location OR position OR of having this changed OR development”.
I have heard this on multiple occasions now, “Movement”, “move”, “keep moving”, etc.
So, God, what does this mean for me? Where am I going?
I would like to think better achievements like certifications, or something! However, how can I be faithful in the small things now? To show up every day for myself, my spouse, my kiddos, my job (both the patients and my coworkers). However, I want to move in Christ and be submitted to His Will for my Life. I want to continue to love everything that I am grateful to do. I’ve once heard that with much greatness comes great sacrifice. Welp, Christ said, “With God, all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). So that’s good enough for me, lol!
My therapist (wink here) says that friction is good, and it allows for the moment to Reset. We reset, not to repeat the same things, but to move forward into doing something different. Hopefully, better. Friction is required for smoothness/change.
What does movement mean for you as we bring this year to an end?
What has been your word for this year?
My prayer is “Lord, I need you to help me put things into proper perspective. I pray for direction because I want to continue to be BETTER and MOVE forward. Put a mirror around me, Lord, to show me myself to make the necessary changes (my therapist again here, smile). For I do believe that,
“I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENS ME.” Phillipians 4:13… Amen.”
