“The devil does not mind you believing in God. He wants you to believe that you cannot go to God as you are, with all your imperfections. However, you do not have to wait to “get it right”. God loves you now and will meet you right here.” -said a Pastor..

I hope this post finds you in good spirits. Today is the day
that the Lord has made so let us be glad and rejoice in it. How are you doing
so far? Are you making self-affirmations for the day before your feet touch the
ground? For instance, “I am complete, I am beautiful, I am determined, I choose
to be happy, I will be successful today, and I am a child of the Most, High
King!” You get the point.

Well, we all know life throws us curve balls and our moods
can change like the weather. So, what do you do? For me, I remind myself to
meditate on the Word of God. I believe in the Power of God’s Word going forth
in the earth. Today I want to share some of the different names of God. Hopefully,
you can start speaking these names and the meanings of each to proclaim who God
is in your life. Speak them aloud to worship God, to affirm it to yourself, and
that the devil will hear it too! I see it as a way to submit to God, and resist
the devil, that he may flee (James 4:7).
Ok, ok, here you go:

Elohim- Mighty Creator

El Shaddai- The All-Sufficient One, God Almighty.

Jehovah Shalom- The Lord is Peace.

Yahweh(YHWH)- I AM.

Abba- Father.

Adonai- LORD.

Jehovah Nissi- The LORD is our Banner.

Jehovah Rapha- The Lord who heals.

El Roi- The God who sees me.

El Elyon- God Most High.

El Chaiyai- God of my life.

El- God

El Olam- The Everlasting God, the Eternal God.

Alpha and Omega- The First and the Last.

Jehova Ra’ah- The Lord is my Shepherd.

Jehovah Jireh- The Lord will provide!

In Conclusion, I pray you use these different names of God
as a way of worshipping God and having faith that He will meet your need as you
have summoned Him. I will say something like “Thank you Abba, for being my El
Roi, for you see me and know what all concerns me….”. I thank God for the
opportunity to call on Him according to my needs and I pray that you will get
to know God more intimately as well. He is always available.

Be blessed,
