We love to talk about having peace. Peace within. Peace in
our lives. Peace amongst others. But how much do we really try to obtain this peace?

Yes, I must define peace for you. According to Oxford dictionary….

              Peace
is to be content, satisfied, cheerful, unbothered, and willing…etc.

So, lets dive right into it. Are you content with the
life you currently have? I believe this goes hand in hand with being grateful. Not
to confuse being content with being complacent, but to honestly enjoy what you
already have even if striving for more.

Are you cheerful? How would your peers (spouse, children,
coworkers) describe you? Are you fun to be around? You do not have to be Strawberry
Shortcake but people should not turn and walk the other way when they
see you coming either lol.

Are you easily frustrated? Does every little thing bother
you? Physically and/or mentally. You should not stress over the things you cannot
control. I know it is easier said than done. Pray about them and keep moving forward.
Work on the things that you can change for the better and pray for the strength
and clarity to do so.

Lastly, are you willing? Are you willing to start
with yourself. Willing to change to obtain the peace that you wished you somehow possessed? To become more content, satisfied, cheerful, unbothered, and willing.

There are plenty of scriptures that speak on peace in the
bible. I have listed a few below.

I love that I do not have to carry the
burdens of life on my shoulders but give them to Jesus. Our Lord and Savior. He
delivers me from all of my troubles, and He will do the same for you. I pray
that these scriptures on peace give you a sense of peace. Jehovah Shalom- the Lord is Peace. Check out the link below.

may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have
overcome the world.”

everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be
