☕Devotional

The title of this devotion may sound righteous, but let me explain. God instructs us to be careful not to practice our righteousness in front of others simply to be seen by them; if we do, we will receive no reward from our Father in Heaven (Matt. 6:1).

Being more like God does not involve condemning others or acting superior. Often, our human nature leads us to desire to be served, hold grudges, and act selfishly. However, becoming more like God means embodying His teachings: loving unconditionally, serving others, praying, seeking His will, living with integrity, showing humility, sharing the Gospel, forgiving those who have wronged us, and making daily sacrifices for the sake of others. While we are not called to make the ultimate sacrifice, we can still make small sacrifices every day for others and for God’s glory. The best part is that the Holy Spirit does all the work; we are simply vessels.

How will others experience God’s Word through you today?

Prayer💕

Lord, help us to be a light in the world. May our actions reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name. Give us the courage to shine brightly for You—not to condemn others, but to draw them in love and truth. May we cling to Your teachings and be good stewards of Your Word, ourselves, and how we interact with others. In Jesus’ name, we humbly pray, Amen.

You are blessed.
