Devotional
Turning to the Lord in times of fear brings both deliverance and peace. This verse encourages us to pray to God, trusting that He will respond and free us from our anxieties. While it’s easy to say, it can be much harder to put into practice. We must commit ourselves to being doers of God’s Word. We should seek the Lord in every situation, even when it’s uncomfortable or challenging. When we feel weary and hopeless, it’s especially important to turn to Him. We need to keep God’s Word on our lips and be mindful of what we say. The circumstances may be difficult, but the key question is: What do we speak over them? Are we speaking life or death?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for hearing our prayers and delivering us from our fears. Help us to seek You always and to trust in Your ability to rescue us, knowing that nothing is too hard for You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
