Devotion
Our interactions with others should be marked by wisdom and grace. In today’s world, the concept of ’emotional intelligence’ is prevalent. We mirror God’s love to those around us by seizing every opportunity and speaking kindly. Let’s be deliberate in our conversations, allowing God’s wisdom to steer our words. We should strive to listen not just to respond but to understand, as guided by His wisdom.
Can we begin actively listening to others and letting God’s love be evident in our responses, no matter how difficult the conversation is?
Prayer
Lord, help us to act wisely and graciously toward others. May our conversations be filled with grace and seasoned with Your wisdom. Teach us to make the most of every opportunity to share Your love, even in some of the most uncomfortable situations. Be a light upon our feet and a lamp upon our path, guiding us in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, we humbly pray, Amen.
