Scripture
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
– John 3:16 (ESV)
One of the Bible’s most well-known and cherished verses is John 3:16. It captures the ultimate message of the Gospel: God’s immense love for humanity and His incredible gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. God loved us so much that He sacrificed His one and only Son.
There is nothing we can do to minimize God’s love for us. It is not limited or conditional. It extends to the entire world, embracing every person regardless of their past or present circumstances. Christ knew no sin, to die for the sins of the whole world. Not only then but now and forever more. Whoever believes in Jesus will have eternal life.
Believing in Jesus means more than just acknowledging His existence; it involves trusting Him as Lord and Savior, accepting His sacrifice, and committing to follow Him. This belief leads to a transformation of heart and life, resulting in the promise of eternal life—a life in the presence of God, free from sin and suffering.
Can we begin by believing Christ Jesus died on the cross for our sins, accept His love, and begin reading God’s Word to allow it to transform our hearts and lives?
As God speaks to us more clearly, may we be reminded to share this Good News with others, knowing that eternal life awaits all who believe.
