A hopeless person who can stand? The day is never a good day, and it’s as if they are experiencing a distorted view of the world.

Take heart, for even in times of suffering, there is hope. While happiness may not be a great teacher, pain can be a university of life. As Christians or good people, we are not exempt from experiencing suffering, but it can teach us valuable lessons. Remember that life is not a continuous stream of happiness but instead, a series of lessons that help build our perseverance and character. Don’t be ashamed of your struggles, but continue to have faith in Jesus Christ and boast in the hope of the glory of God. Even when things are not going well, you still have permission to hope.

Scripture

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Romans 5:3-5

Let them remember that You are their God and that nothing is too difficult for you. May they learn valuable lessons from their experiences and live a life of hope and love rather than despair. I humbly pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
