Do you feel unworthy of getting close to God because of shame, guilt, negative thoughts, or past actions?
Do you worry that God would not be pleased with you and that you are undeserving of His goodness in your life? Or do you feel you need to have everything together before turning back to God?
The good news is that you don’t have to worry about doing anything to earn your salvation. God has already taken care of every sin by sending His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for your sins and mine. The enemy wants you to believe you must be perfect, but that’s not true. God expects you to be imperfect because only He is perfect. So, don’t overthink it because the price for your redemption has already been paid. You can live a life of peace, love, and hope today because Jesus loves you. He has already made a way for you to get to God; all you have to do is accept it.

Prayer
Dear God, I pray that the person reading this post will see you for who you truly are – a loving God who saves and wants the best for them. You have promised that your mercies are new every day, and I pray that they will believe it, receive it, and turn away from anything that is not pleasing to you. Please keep them from temptation and give them the strength to live for you. I ask this humbly in Jesus’ name. Amen.
