Peace is important. However, we tend to let external factors disturb our peace. We must understand that peace is internal. A pastor once said that when you walk into a room, you do not adjust to the temperature, but the temperature adjusts to you. My advice is that you should not let the environment affect you, but you affect the environment. You have to know who you are and be confident in your identity. You must also know your worth and what good you bring to the environment. When you walk in with this confidence, it radiates from you, and the environment cannot tell you anything different than what you already know about yourself. Accomplishing this one concept alone shall give you peace.
I identify as a child of God, so I know I am loved, chosen, beautiful, and blessed. I get perfect peace from God alone, and when I walk into an environment, I radiate what I believe in. I encourage you to find your identity. Who are you? Whose are you? Once you figure that out, walk in it. If you believe in God, lean into Him and ask Him to show you who He is in your life. If you don’t know Him, may you find rest for your soul. Don’t let it be too late.
In conclusion.
This message is for encouragement and a new perspective on moving forward, regardless of the circumstances. Just know you are loved, chosen, blessed, beautiful, and amazing! Trust in God.
“Don’t be anxious for anything but through prayer and petition with thanksgiving in all situations may your request be known to God. May the peace of God that transcends all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
A prayer.
“Dear Father God, thank you for creating, loving, and knowing me before you formed me in my mother’s womb. I pray that you give me a fresh perspective on who I am and how I belong to you. Please help me to see myself as you see me and to receive your perfect peace in my life. May I have peace with you, Father God, that keeps me from getting caught up in my environment but to thrive instead. In Jesus’ name, I humbly pray. Amen”.
Salvation prayer.
If you do not know Jesus and want to start today, say this prayer, aloud:
Dear God, I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him back to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Amen.
