Read a Proverb a day to keep the devil away…

I pray this post finds you well and in good spirits. Smile.

Let’s dive right into it.

As you may already know, I have been posting the Proverbs Series over the last month, or so, as a bible study per say on Instagram and Facebook. I have yet to get to the last chapter of Proverbs that speaks on the Virtuous Woman which is like a topic all to itself! Ok, focus, but proverbs is a really good book on instruction and consequences.

As stated in my Women’s Devotional Bible

“Wisdom is the heart of Proverbs. Most of the book is written by King Solomon, who God blessed with the gift of great wisdom. Diving into subjects as varied as money, relationships, foolishness, adultery, child-rearing, contentment, and choosing good companions, the book is a treasure trove of advice.

Godly wisdom is one of life’s most important and valuable pursuits, worth much more than material wealth. Many people choose to read Proverbs monthly, one chapter each day, to be sure to keep the lessons learned at the front of their minds.” (Some words rephrased for better understanding)

In conclusion, the book of Proverbs covers a multitude of sayings, written by King Solomon and other wise men, that gives us the overall benefits of operating in wisdom and instructions to steer clear of wickedness. May we be mindful to refer to it often for wisdom and insight to help move life forward.
