Have you ever thought an opportunity was perfect for you? You worked hard for it, but it was somehow blocked? Or vice versa. You stumbled
across an opportunity that just seemed to have landed in your lap, without any
effort? Whether a blessing or a blocking, consider them both from above.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of
those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
NIV

You can have faith that when things do not go as planned,
the good Lord has something better in mind. He states that his ways are not our
ways, nor are his thoughts our thoughts, but higher than our ways and thoughts
(Isaiah 55:8, NIV). So, we do not have to worry. When things are not “happy go
lucky”,  God sees and knows what we cannot
see, or seem to understand. The accident, the lost job, the illness, the unplanned
pregnancy, etc. is what our physical eyes may see at that moment in time.
However, God sees that newfound purpose, a better job, a miracle, an
opportunity to love and be loved unconditionally, etc.

Even after being forced to sit home for weeks with COVID-19,
I believe we can all agree that we were given the opportunity to reevaluate our
lives and, hopefully, look at our faith walk and purpose for our lives. During
these unprecedented times, I believe that God has still shown His favor to us
in various, subtle ways. As a vivid believer, I believe God will use the
setbacks we are facing as a setup for something greater in our lives and in the
lives of others.  May we stay in the
fight. Will it be easy? No. Will it be worth it? Definitely.

So, what may seem like a blockade, or set back, could be a blessing
in the making. Will you trust God during the hard times as well as the good
times? I sure hope so. He has never failed me yet! 😊

Be blessed.
