Whether
we acknowledge it or not, we all find ourselves worshipping something, or
someone.
we acknowledge it or not, we all find ourselves worshipping something, or
someone.
What is it? Your car, house, job, shoes, money…etc.
Who is it? Your spouse, child(ren), parent,
boy/girlfriend, lucifer(hope not)…etc.
Spoiler alert: God is the Creator
of them all!
Worship is defined as the feeling or expression of reverence
and adoration for a deity (a god). In other words, to perceive something to be
greater than thy self.

greater than thy self.
We should
never place items or people in a position to be perceived as greater than
ourselves. Items will perish, and people will fail you because they’re only human.
My hopes are for you to reevaluate
your worshipping. Why worship something/someone that was created when you can
worship the Creator who is able to provide all the above in His perfect timing?
He even created the things we tend to abuse. Therefore, we are not bound by
addictions or bad habits.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will”. (Romans 12:2, NIV).
You are not what you do. Remember that.
Choosing to worship God is choosing
to be victorious. He will give you peace that surpasses understanding and an indescribable
joy when the world around you seems to be falling apart.
For reassurance,
Proverbs 21:30 states “There is no wisdom, no sign, no plan that can
succeed against the LORD” & Jeremiah 32:27 states “I am the Lord, the
God of all mankind. Is there anything too hard for me?” (NIV). So, do not worry
about your circumstances, just begin to worship the Creator and not the created.
You will be blessed.
