Emmanuel means “God
is with us”
God says if you remain
in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done
for you (John 15:7, NIV).
When we profess the Word
of God and have faith, God will work things out for our good. The desires of our
heart will line up with His Will for our lives.
Thank You, Father. Now
let us stop doubting the authenticity of God. Seek first His kingdom and His
righteousness and all these things will be added unto you (Matt. 6:33, NIV). He
is awesome and worthy to be praised. Don’t go to Him with a “what can you
do for me God” mentality, but with a “what can I do for you, Father”
state of mind. I believe that He mostly wants your undivided attention, so that
He can be with you (remain in you). He’ll never leave you, nor forsake you.
Seek Him and you’ll discover that Emmanuel is already nearer than you think.

Thinking on all the
things God has done for me, I can’t help but sing Emmanuel to the heavens! Even though I’m not the best singer, ha! I looked forward to a blessing that only
God could grant me, and he did just that…all smiles.
